The Cranes of Inner Mongolia

内蒙古自治区全区总面积约占国土面积的12.3%,草地面积占全区总面积的74.6%。到1989年底,有6种鹤在内蒙古地区分布,并均有繁殖记录。但近十年来的考查表明,目前仅丹顶鹤,白枕鹤,蓑羽鹤在内蒙古地区繁殖。在繁殖季节,灰鹤曾多次见于呼伦贝尔盟,但从未见卵或雏鸟。内蒙古东部地区是丹顶鹤和白枕鹤的主要繁殖地。内蒙古大草原是我国蓑羽鹤的主要繁殖地。

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a bigger district in China. The total area of Inner Mongolia is 12.3 percent of whole area of china. The area of grassfield is about 74.6 percent of the total area of Inner Mongolia. Six species of cranes were recorded before 1989 and the breeding record of all six species were taken in past years. Now only three species that is Redcrowned Crane, White-naped Crane, Demoiselle Crane are found breeding in Inner Mongolia.
