文章认为社会经济统计学和数理统计学是统计学的两个分支 ,二者的研究对象与研究方法论具有同一性 ,但在研究范围和理论基础方面又具有差异性。那种把社会经济统计学与数理统计学割裂开来的观点在很大程度上是一种偏见。

Socioeconomic statistics and mathematical are the two branches of statistics. They both are of identity in their own research subjects and theoretical bases. The viewpoint of isolating the two from each other is, to a large extent, a prejudice.
