By means of grey system theory, a new model of nonlinear grey system GM(l,l s,t) is established and applied to forecast the quantity of SO 2 emission from a factory.The result shows that the model quality of NLGM(l,l s,t) is fine,middle term and long term forecasting are more reliable than GM(l,l).
