“三个代表”重要思想是在科学总结党的80年历程的基本经验的基础上得出的科学结论。“三个代表”重要思想是我们党在跨越充满希望和挑战的新世纪的关键时刻作出的重大理论创新,它把实践标准、生产力标准、社会进步标准和人民利益高于一切的标准有机地统一起来,科学地回答了在新的历史条件下“建设一个什么样的执政党,怎样建设执政党”这个根本问题。“三个代表”重要思想是我们党在新世纪全面加强党的建设的伟大纲领,也是指引我们不断夺取建设有中国特色社会主义事业新胜利的伟大思想武器。可谓是“卓越的理论创新,伟大的政治宣言”。

The important thought of 'Three Represents' is a scientific conclusion our Party has drawn from the basic experience in the past 80 years . Emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts are the soul of Marxism, Mao Zedong thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, as well as of the 'Three Represents'. The important thought of 'Three represents' is a theory innovation worked out at a critical time when our Party was entering the new century full of hope and challenge. It organically combines the criteria of practice, productive force , social progress and putting the interests of the people above everything else, so as to scientifically answer the basic issue of what kind of Party in power to build and how under the new historical conditions .
