This paper introduces the local area network and the database organization in Zhongyuan Oilfield,and review the growing course of exploration database.It was shown that lead recognization and rules healthiness are the fundamentally guarantee of exploration database,and layout ,plan and manager are very important to exploration database build.Brubg forward theat data source,software development and employee's training are the most important factor relating to the success of exploration database.\;
