The improvement in the electrical system,pneumatically driven doors,air source system on homemade electrical passenger cars,as well as the contents and process of technical reform on the chopper voltage adjustment cars on the 'Loop Line'(the second phase project)of Beijing Metro in the years are described.From the experience of application of homemade metro cars in Beijing Metro,the opinion that the metro light rail vehicle industry should be developed on the basis of homemade vehicle equipment and with introduction of advanced technology abroad is expounded.
