Seismic Strengthening and Architectural Style

本文结合北京市几所高校原有建筑的抗震加固装修改造工程 ,探讨如何将老建筑装修改造与结构抗震加固有机结合 ,使原有建筑经抗震加固后 ,保持特有的建筑风格和具备现代化的建筑功能 ,即“形旧意新”。

In this paper,in connection with the seismic strengthening and decorative renovation of existing buildings in some universities in Beijing,exploratory investigation was done on how to combine organically the decorative renovation of existing buildings with seismic strengthening.The building,after seismic strengthening,will not only retain its special architectural style,but also possess the modern service function,i.e.'old appeaarance with new meaning'.
