Transmission Characteristics of Electrorheological Fluids

摘要 应用自制的电流变液 (ERF)无级调速装置 ,研究ERF的传输特性 ,结果表明 :两种 ERF中 ,抗剪强度 /剪切速率曲线 (τ-γ曲线 )上有一段缓慢上升部分的ERF适合做调速用。外加负载对输出转速影响较大 ,为了保证恒定的输出转速 ,可通过调节外加场强和选择适当的 ERF实现。 An electrorheological fluid (ERF) stepless speed change device was designed and prepared, by which ERF transmission characteristics was investigated. The results show that if shear stress of ERE increases slowly with increase in shear rate, the ERE is suitable for speed regulation. External load has great effect on output rotational speed. Adjusting applied field and using different ERF are effective ways to keep output rotational speed constant. The structure and size of the ERF stepless speed change device also have influence on output rotational speed.
