Obviously it is of good economical benefit to install an optic fiber sensing(OFS)gauge without gas production shutdown in a large telescopic gasometer.However,it is of difficulty.In this paper,some special designs in structure and methods to meet the installing need are illustrated.The actually installing example is put forward.This technique gives full play to the good qualities of OFS gauge,such as safety and high accuracy.
