略谈读者工作应注重的几个问题

中小型图书馆,特别是小型图书馆,为了现代化建设的需要,应积极做好读者服务工作,增强为读者服务的主动性,计划性。应注重馆藏中专业知识的积累,加强对读者阅读的指导,使读者在能够完整系统地学习专业知识,并能及时准确地掌握最新文献。此外,还要满足广大群众的求知需求,依靠群众办馆。

To meet the needs of modernization in construction,small and mediumsized libraries (esp.the small libraries)ought to do better work for readers—to strengthen the initiative of service work and planning;and ought to pay enough attention to the acumulation of specialized knowledge in book collection—to enhance the guidance to readers and make them systematically gain specialized knowledge and timely and precisely grasp the latest literature.In addition,libraries ought to meet the needs of the broad masses for knowledge and rely on them to prosper libraries.
