改善生态环境,保护自然资源是环境保护工作的重要组成部分。北京市成立了以市政府农林办公室为首,有关综合部门参加的农业生态环境保护协作组,确立了协作的宗旨和任务。通过对生态环境问题分折和战略对策研究,将北京地区的生态环境分为三个部分:1.市区和市区周围为城市生态系统;2.郊区平原地区,以农业生产为主体的农业生态系统;3.山区,以林、果生产为主体的森林生态系统。开展了重点和试点生态工程建设:1.开展水源涵养林重点工程建设和水流域综合治理;2.营造防风固沙林,开展治沙试验工程;3.开展畜禽粪便的污染治理和综合利用;4.扩大农业生态工程试点;5.推广生物防治,减少农用化学品使用量。
