药用植物在绿色植物中占有很重要的地位 ,保护和开发利用这些种质资源具有现实的意义。植物园作为生物多样性保护基地 ,能更好地保护和开发利用一些珍贵的药用植物种。文章介绍了干旱区植物园对药用植物种保护和利用的多种措施 ;当前药用植物保护和利用中存在的问题。

medicine Plants are important in the green plant, so protecting?developing and using them have practical significance. The botanical garden as a protecting base for diversify of plants can protect and develop some valuable species of medicine plants better. This paper introduces somw ways for protecting developing useing this species in the botanical garden in arid area, and problems in protecting and using the medicine plants, and the countermeasures to solve and improve.
