摘要
实施西部地区大开发必须走可持续发展之路，没有可持续发展，西部地区大开发就不可能实现。合理开发和利用自然资源、发展高新技术、培养高素质的劳动力，以提高西部的可持续发展能力。
During the development of our country,even of the world in the 21th century,sustainable development is an important point concerned by all of us.It is the only way for Western Development to put sustainable development into practice.Without sustainalbe development,we can't reach our destination.Therefore, we should rational exploit and make good use of natural resources,research on high－tech,train high－qualified labors in order to improve the ability of sustainalbe development in Western area.
