In this article,it introduces a method of inquirying data and making alarms in long-distance between PLC and mobile-phone and beep-pager through the connection of PLC and Modem.It also presents the detail hardware including linking cable and the designing methods of communication software on PLC.This way has successfully applied to the self—service automation system in small hydropower station.
