试论教育也是生产力

Education is also Productivity.

邓小平同志提出的“科学技术是第一生产力”这一重要思想是对马克思主义历史唯物主义的重要贡献。然而 ,学者们大多从科学技术在现代社会中的地位和作用方面去理解 ,忽视了教育在科技发展中的重要作用 ,即便有所论及 ,也未能把教育与科技放在同等重要的地位。实际上 ,“科学技术是第一生产力”已经内在的包含着“教育也是生产力”的思想。本文从系统的、动态的视角 ,结合邓小平同志的有关论述论证了教育也是生产力。并且进一步论述了坚持教育和科技并重 ,教育也是生产力的思想对于现实社会的指导意义。

Deng Xiaoping pointed out that Science and Technology is primary productivity. This view is an important contribution to Marxist historical materialism. But some experts have a partial understanding of the idea. They have ignored the important role of education because of the increasing importance of science and technology. In fact, the view that science and technology is productivity contains the meaning that education is also productivity. The paper expounds on Deng Xiaoping's ideas about it from systematic and dynamic angle.
