摘要
本文针对传统有限元方法在求解以对流作用为主的泥沙运动方程时所遇到的困难 ,分别采用迎风有限元和特征有限元法进行耦合求解。通过数值实验证实两种方法可以很好地处理对流项 ,其中尤以特征有限元法为最优。尽管目前该方法计算耗时稍多 ,但随着硬件技术的发展 ,将得到广泛的应用。
An application of the upwind and characteristic finite element method(FEM) to the convection\|dominated sediment movement modeling is reported in this paper. The two improved FEMs above are studied for the coupling solution of the governing equations of hydrodynamics, sediment movement and bed deformation. Accordingly, the improved computational programs are compiled based on an established hydrodynamic model. The numerical experiments indicate that they are all available to deal with the convection term, and especially, the characteristic FEM is more fit for the modeling of sediment movement in the flow field including vertical\|axis circumfluence, even if this new FEM needs a little more time spent in the calculation.
