摘要
中国西北干旱区占国土面积的 1/ 4,该区不仅发展空间广阔 ,而且资源优势显著 ,是国家实施西部开发的主战场。文章在充分剖析该区域自然特征的基础上 ,从生态环境建设、农业、旅游业、城市发展等方面分析了该区域的特点及其优劣势 ,探讨了持续发展的方向及可行的途径。
Northwest arid lands cover nearly one-fourths of China .The regions not only have large space ,but also have advantage of resources. It is a main foundation that our country carries out the plan of exploiting the areas in Western China. According to the regional characteristics, the advantage and inferiority are analyzed systematically, such as improving ecological environment, developing agriculture and tourism and city. Simultaneously, the direction and efficacious way of sustainable development of northwest arid lands are put forward.
