桑树是多年生乔木树种 ,具有良好的水、土保持特性 ,是优秀的造林树种之一。结合退耕还林 ,因地制宜地营造桑树水土防护经济林 ,把治理环境和发展经济结台起来 ,有利于增加农民收入。

Mulberry tree is perennial high tree. It has an effective conservation against water runoff and soil erosion, and is one of the better forest trees .Mulberry trees could be planted in the suitable plots as an economy forest under the policy of returning grain plots to forestry . The philosophy of combination of improving envirenment and developing eonomy is favourable for increasing farmers' income.
