Effects of KH 2PO 4 and Penicillin on the germination and growing of aged wheat seed were studied. The results showed that some characteristics were improved with the suitable concentration of KH 2PO 4 and Penicillin, such as germination percentage and index, vigour index, root system vigour and chlorophyll content of seedling, and the length of seedling. The solution electroconductivity of soaking seeds were decreased. Among all the treatments, 0.025% KH 2PO 4 and 100 mg/L Penicillin is the best combination.
