In the report, the Schiff base of methamidophos (O, S dimethyl phosphorothioamidate) with furfural (FP) and its Cu(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) complexes have been synthesized. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV/vis, and molar eletroconductivity measurements. And the Schiff base ligand has been characterized by 1H NMR and MS. The insecticidal activities to bollwarm and the actions on cell surival rate in mung bean sprouts of the compounds have been determined.
