作者在阅览大量文献资料和亲身实验研究体会的基础上,重点就皮革防水机理和皮革防水性的表征方法和标准进行了阐述,并表明了自己的看法。此外,也提及了防水革的卫生性能和列举了一些用不同材料防水的例子。
