摘要
CORBA是一种开放的分布式对象计算底层支持 ,其目的在于保证组件的可重用性、可移植性和互操作性。CORBA为解决不同平台上的分布式计算问题 ,从而为开发功能更强大、通用性更强、可互操作的GIS平台提供了条件。该文就CORBA技术、CORBA技术与GIS技术的结合、基于CORBA的GIS系统结构。
There is an emerging need for Distributed Geographical Information Systems. As a new distributed object technology, OMG CORBA specifies a technical framework that allows applications that use different protocols to communicate, transfer information and interoperate. Thus, CORBA enable technologies for geographic information system interoperability platform. The CORBA component technology and its applying on GIS Implementation are introduced in this paper.
