On Transformation and Upgrading of Tourism Image of Chongqing

摘要 重庆已初步实现了由“旅游资源大市”向“中国旅游名市”的历史性跨越,但要实现由“中国旅游名市”向“中国旅游大市”的转变,即实现旅游形象的转型升级,还需要从以下几方面努力:1.在观念和体制上,要形成在大市场中用大产业的方式开发大旅游的认识和工作格局;2.在市场开发上,必须坚持发挥企业和政府的积极性,依靠市场和行政双重推动;3.在资金投入和使用上,要走多元化道路;4.在工作重点上,要狠抓产品开发、市场促销、行业管理和对企业经营的指导;5.提高旅游企业从业人员、行业管理人员和行政管理人员的素质。 Chongqing has basically realized the span from the city rich in tourism resources to famous tourism city in China. In order to realize the change from famous tourism city of China to big tourism city of China, which indicates to realize upgrading and transformation of Chongqing tourism image, however, several efforts must be made to firstly form big tourism recognition and atmosphere by using big industry mode and renewing ideas and systems in big cities, to secondly give free rein to two active roles of government and enterprises in market exploitation, to thirdly stick to multiple cultural roads in using capital, to fourthly stress on products development and market promotion and industry management and guiding enterprises' management and to fifthly improve the quality of employees, executives and office workers in tourism enterprises.
