The paper introduces special application of Hall sensor in protection circuit of high power thyristor in detail,and solve the problem that express fuse takes only one off protection for overload of high power thyristor.Hall sensor can protect high power thyristors rapidly in the condition of short circuit.It is either advanced or nondestructive in current circuit protection of high power thyristor.
