萨赫勒地区蝗灾起因和防治途径

Causes of Locusts Breeding and a Way of Prevention and Control in Sahel Region

本文在分析国内、外大量的蝗虫猖獗地区的地理、地貌和有关影响因素资料的基础上,结合我国蝗虫防治研究的成果,得出了萨赫勒地区蝗虫猖獗是在其自然地理因素主导下产生的结论,而提出焚烧灭蝗的防治新途径。

After analyzing a lot of data about geographical,geomorphological and other influential factors in many regions suffering from rampancy of locusts at home and abroad,and combining it with internal achievements in scientific rese rch of prevention and control of locusts,we have come to a conclusion that physical geographic factors lead to rampancy of locusts in Sahel region.Thus a new way of prevention and control,setting fire to locusts,is advanced.
