略论唐宪宗平定藩镇的历史条件与个人作用

A Preliminary Analysis of Emperor Xian Zong's Personal Role and Historical Conditions in Suppression of the Rebellion of Military Governors

本文从平定藩镇的历史条件与个人作用两个方面 ,分析了唐宪宗元和年间平定藩镇的原因 ,认为讨伐藩镇的成功 ,是宪宗充分利用中唐以来社会、历史所提供的有利条件 ,发挥个人杰出的组织领导指挥才能 ,充分依靠群臣及广大将士 ,共同奋斗的结果。

This paper analyses the reasons for Emperor Xian Zong of the Tang Dynasty to suppress the rebellion of military governors during the years of Yuan He in terms of both his personal role and the historical conditions and argues that the successful suppression should be attributed to Emperor Xian Zong's making full use of the advantageous social conditions emerging historically in the mid Tang period, his remarkable organizing and commanding talent and his reliance on the combined efforts of the officials, military commanders and soldiers.
