本文在对义乌市东河经济现状和发展条件分析的基础上 ,确立了新世纪东河的发展方针和发展目标 ,并通过制度创新、梯度推进、结构优化、形象重塑等战略措施 ,努力把东河建设成为城郊型现代化强镇。

Based on the analysis of present situations and development conditions of Donghe's regional economy,the paper established some guiding principles and the goal of Donghe's development in the new century. And by taking strategic measures such as institution innovation,gradual progression,structural optimization and image re-moulding,Donghe can be turned into a modern and strong township of suburban type.
