摘要
通过英语和傣语定中结构的对比 ,揭示了这两种语言各自的语法特点 :英语主要是以词形变化为主 ,同时借助词序和虚词表示词的语法意义 ,其语法手段多样化 ;傣语则是以词序和虚词表示词的语法意义 ,由量词充当结构助词 。
On the basis of the comparison of the noun phrases of English and Dai Language, this paper reveals the respective characteristics of the two languages. The author argues that in English, the grammatical meanings of words are expressed by the variations of the forms of words as well as the word order and function words which embodies various grammatical means ;while in Dai Language, they are mainly reflected by word order and function words in which measure words work as the structural auxiliary words, which embodies the multi functions of its measure words.
