Handcraft Industry of Shaanxi in the Western Zhou Dynasty

陕西是西周王朝的发祥地和周文化的摇篮。西周时期陕西手工业的发展水平代表了当时手工业的最高水平。依据考古发掘和文献记载 ,互为印证 ,详细论述了西周时期陕西在青铜业、陶瓷业、玉器业、制骨业、丝绸业等方面的成就 ,再现了陕西旧日的辉煌 ,激励现代人发扬古人遗风 。

The Western Zhou Dynasty and its culture was cradled in Shaanxi. As is confirmed in archaeological excavation and historical records, the handcraft industry of Shaanxi in the Western Zhou Dynasty had reached its highest level. In this paper, an introduction is made to the great achievements made in the handcraft industry of Shaanxi at that time in hopes that the present-day people can develop the glorious tradtion of the ancients and resume the brilliant histry of Shaanxi.
