胶原ⅩⅤ (collagenⅩⅤ )是近来发现的胶原家族新成员 ,与胶原ⅩⅧ同属一个亚型 .除在连接基底膜与组织基质方面具有重要作用外 ,它可能还具有抑制肿瘤侵袭的作用 ,可作为判断肿瘤侵袭、转移潜能的敏感标志 .其内在片段在结构与功能上与胶原ⅩⅧC端的内皮抑素片段极为相似 ,具有抗血管生成活性 .介绍了近年来有关胶原ⅩⅤ的分子结构、基因定位。

Collagen ⅩⅤ, a new member of the collagen family, has been classified as the subclass which collagen ⅩⅧ belongs to. It plays an important role in adhering basement membrane to the underlying connective tissue stroma. Some results suggest that it is involved in the invasive process of carcinomas and it may provide a sensitive indicator of tumor invasion. Recently, restin, a C terminal fragment of the collagen ⅩⅤ, has been reported as an angiogenesis inhibitor, which shares homology with endostatin. The gene structure and organization, tissue distribution and the activity of collagen ⅩⅤ were discussed.
