The basic monitoring network for safety of aqueduct on the Luo River, the accuracy analysis of deformation observation, the methods of layout, construction, observation and data treatment are introduced in the paper. Some experience on accuracy analysis of observation, the selection of observation scheme and their feasibility and economy is demonstated.
