As the key component of all optical switching, wavelength conversion has been paid a lot of attention, and the wavelength conversion based on four wave mixing is also considered as a promising technology because of its strict transparency.In this articlc the phase macthed condition and coupling equations are presented based on nonlinear equations and the principle and application of the wavelength conversion based on four wave mixing are also introduced.
