广深线现行快速列车运营效果良好。建议广州—长沙间采用摆式列车 ,以便将这一快速列车延长至长沙站。该区段经济发达 ,人口多 ,线路、接触网和电务设备已按快速规划进行改造 ,可满足目标值为 1 60km h的列车运行要求 。
The current “New Speed” express train along Guang Shen Line has been observed a good performance of operation. It is suggested to adopt tilting train between Guangzhou and Changsha in order to extend the express train to Changsha station. The region of this section is advanced in economy with a large population. The line, the contact system and signaling/communication equipment have already been modified for speed raising and are fit for the target train speed of 160 km/h. It will also be in favor of the competition against Jing Zhu high way.
