对东风8B型机车前变速箱存在的噪音、异音、发热和机油泄漏等问题 ,进行了详尽的分析。指出解决东风8B型机车前变速箱问题的根本出路就是重新设计前变速箱。将直齿轮传动改为斜齿轮传动 ;增加齿轮油泵 ,加强润滑 ;降低油位 ,避免齿轮搅油 ;改变油封结构 ,增强密封性能。

The problems such as noise, abnormal sound, heat and lubricating oil leakage of front gear box of DF 8B locomotive are analyzed in detail. The fundamental approach to solve these problems is redesign of front gear box, ie using straight gear transmission instead of skew one, adding gear oil pumps to enhance lubricating, lowering oil level to avoid gear stirring oil and changing seal structure to improve seal performance.
