The development task origin, structure, main technical parameters, authentication test results of the complete locomotive and its main components at level of the Ministry of Railways, on-road operation trial and quality improvements of DF 4D Series diesel locomotives(including 145km/h DF 4D passenger locomotive equipped with wheel axle rolling bearing box, 100km/h DF 4D freight locomotive equipped with wheel axle rolling bearing box and 170km/h sub-high-speed passenger locomotive equipped with fully-suspended bogie of traction motor), and overhaul, technical rebuild and user opinions for DF 4D passenger diesel locomotive are presented.
