HDPE紫外辐照改性及其与PVA共混体系的力学性能

摘要 研究了紫外辐照对高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)结构与性能以及HDPE/聚乙烯醇(PVA)短纤 维共混体系力学性能的影响.结果表明,在空气中通过紫外辐照可在HDPE分子链上引入C=O、C—O 含氧基团,使HDPE分子量下降、熔点降低、结晶度增大并产生凝胶.以辐照HDPE为增容剂,增强 了HDPE与PVA相界面的相互作用,共混物的拉伸屈服强度和缺口冲击强度得到提高. The effect of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation on the molecular structure of HDPE and mechanical properties of its blend with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) short fiber were investigated. The experimental results show that during UV irradiation in air, C=O and C-O oxygen-containing groups are introduced into HDPE molecular chain, the molecular mass and melting temperature of HDPE decreased, the crystallinity increased, it is crosslinked, and the Young's modulus and tensile yield strength increased, its elongation at break and notched lzod impact strength decreased. The irradiated HDPE behaved as compatibilizer in HDPE/PVA, ameliorates interface bonding between HDPE and PVA, adding 8.3% functionalized HDPE, the tensile yield strength and notched imlzodpact strength of the blend increased from 37.7MPa to 43.7MPa and 460J/m to 520J/m, respectively.
