Overseas health care system and its reform are described in this article. The medical expenditures of many countries in the world has been rapidly increasing over the development of economy. In order to cope with the financial crisis, many governments have changed their health policy from the demand side to the supply side. Controlling costs and improving quality and efficiency are goals of health care system reform. It is very meaningful to us for analyze the process of health reform occurring oversea to discuss and understanding the health system reform in our country. Although they are all the same all over the country, every country have their own culture, health care system, and health care problems. As a result of China's transition to a socialist market economy, the health care system has undergone many changes. The health service has to adapt to the changes and the pharmacist should perform pharmaceutical care in order to improve the quality of health service.
