Development of mullite brick with high strength and good thermal shock resistance

以优质莫来石作骨料 ,基质中加入电熔白刚玉粉、莫来石细粉、苏州粘土 ,并预先制成混合粉 ,适量添加“三石” ,通过合理的颗粒级配 ,采用高压成型、高温烧成 ,生产出玻璃拉丝窑用高强抗热震莫来石砖。

The mullite brick for glassfibre drawing tank furnace was developed using quality mullite as aggregate,adding pre mixed powders containing fused white corundum,mullite and clay into the matrix.The key production technology of the brick includes proper particle size grading,high pressure pressing and high temperature sintering.Some factors affecting the properties of the brick are discussed.
