This paper presents a review on the principle and applications of bioremediation. Many aspects are discussed, such as the concept and development of bioremediation, microorganisms and other organisms applied in bioremedi-ation and their actions, effects of the added nutrition or other substances, and some available techniques and application of bioremediation.
