This article details the characteristics of thermo-tube air preheater and the application on the high-pressure hydrogenation reactor.Normally,the light tube preheater with great volume and mass was modified into thermo-tube preheater with high technology and compact in design.The heat efficiency of high-pressure hydrogenation reactor after the modification was increased by3%,and the mass of the preheater was decreased about 10t.
