Study on Long Term Toxicity of MIESHISOUFENGTONG Capsule

目的 :为了观察灭湿搜风痛胶囊对机体产生的毒性反应及其严重程度 ,确定无毒反应剂量 ,为拟定人用安全剂量提供参考。方法 :采用动物实验 ,经大鼠灌胃给药 (1.80g、0 .90g、0 .4 5g内容物 /kg ,分别相当于人用量的 2 0倍、10倍和 5倍 ) ,连续 12周 ,观察大鼠的行为活动、食欲、二便、体重、血液学和生化学指标 ,以及主要脏器系数和病理组织学检查。结果 :3个给药组分别与对照组比较 ,各项指标差异无显著性意义。结论

Objectives:To investigate the toxicity of MIESHISOUFENGTONG capsule and its severity, and to define the non-toxicity dosage, give a safe dosage for human. Methods: Eighty mice were randomly allocated into four groups(n=20): three experimental groups and one control group. The experimental groups were treated with the Capsule through stomach perfusion at a dosage of 1.80g, 0.90g and 0.45g/kg respectively for 12 weeks. The control group were given distilled water(20ml/kg).The behavior, appetite, excrement and urine, body weight, hematological and biochemical markers, coefficient of the main organs and pathohistological test of the mice were investigated. Result: There were no significant differences of the above markers between the experimental groups and the control group. Conclusion: The clinical recommended dosage of the Capsule is safe.
