On the Developmental Strategies of Fruit Industry When China Partici-pated in World Trade Organization

针对即将加入世界贸易组织（ＷＴＯ）的新形势，分析了中国果树生产与出口在世界果业中的地位，剖析了中国果树业发展中存在的主要矛盾，提出了转变思想观念、调整产品结构与经营模式和开拓国际市场等入世对策，以求中国果业能够更加健康稳定地向前发展。

As China will become one of the members of World Trade Organization (WTO), the new chance and challenge should be encountered. How to develop the fruit industry in China is an important question. In this paper, the status of fruit production and export trade, the main contradictions in the fruit development are analysed. The strategies, including changing ideas, regulating product structure and operation pattems, and developing international markets are suggested as well.
