摘要
本文将最优小波包基变换应用到数据压缩方法的研究工作中,针对不同频率的小波包系数之不同统计特性设计了相应的标量量化和矢量量化方法,并对一组实际测量数据运用我们建议的方法进行压缩,在失真率较小的情况下,得到较高的压缩比。
In this paper, we use a wavelet packet transformation with the best basis and scalar quantizers and vector quantizers for the lower and higher frequency wavelet packet coefficient in order to compress data. Then we compress a set of one dimension original signal data using the above suggesting method. The analysis of the computational results indicates that the method of the paper has a high compression rate in a lower distortion rate.
