Research on Methodology in Quality Evaluation for Modern Product Design

1.前言 在激烈的市场竞争实践中,企业逐步认识到产品的开发能力是企业的核心能力,改进产品的设计开发过程比改进产品的生产过程获得的效益更为显著[1].

Design Quality evaluation is one of critical techniques in design process. The design quality evalua-tion for modem design presents the functions of quality assurance, quality improvement, and quality preven-lion. The information, organization and process in quality evaluation are discussed. The quality evaluation model for design process - IPM - Evaluation is put forward, The evaluation process model is composed of four parts: grouping multi - discipline evaluation team, constructing an evaluation criteria tree model, collection of evaluating information, evaluation results problem - solving and decision - making. Many quality tools, such as QFD, FMEA, FTA, Ishikawa Chart, Relation Diagram, and so on, are employed in evaluation process. A computer software for quality evaluation in product design has been developed based on the model and techniques discussed in the paper. The software tool shows that the models and approaches are practical, feasible, and reliable.
