Design methods and an important role that those methods play in the management and design of project are analyzed and discussed.It is indicated that modernizational design methods must be adopted for the management and design of the project,and the crux of that the project design manager organizes and manages the process of the project design is a process that the modernizational design methods are effectively utilized.Furthermore,a project design manager must understand,master and skillflly use modernizational design methods so as to do his work even more better and to be a competent project design manager.
