The 21th century is an information era. The place and function of information in agriculture economy have been more and more paid attention to. A requisite condition of developing modern agriculture is how to develop and use modern information technology to improve innovation level of agriculture science and technology. This article will analyze characteristics and meanings of innovation of agriculture science and technology and explain promotion functions of modern information technology improving innovation level of agriculture science and technology and some measures and methods of improving innovation level of agriculture science and technology are put forward by modern information technology.
