Applying Wire of WGX2 to Submerged Arc Welding of HG70 Steel

采用武钢开发的高强度高韧性埋弧焊丝WGX2用于低合金高强度调质钢HG70的埋弧焊接 ,分析了WGX2焊丝及HG70钢的焊接性能 ,指出高强度调质钢采用合适的焊接材料进行埋弧焊 。

WGX2 is a submerged arc welding wire developed by Wuhan Iron & Steel Company with high strength and toughness and is employed to perform submerged arc welding experiment on high strength, low carbon hardened and tempered steel HG70. The weldability of HG70 steel and WGX2 is studied. It is indicated that if proper welding materials are used, the perfect mechanical properties on weld metal and heat-affected zone can be achieved.
