The author introduced some problems and their solution which were encountered during the construction of the Century Tower,and made a comparison between the experience value and the recommended normal value of the horizontal deformation proportion coefficient'm' of cast in place pile.The author also dealt with the penetrated butt weld of non vertical'T'shape connection,and discussed whether it was reasonable that some specific items were arranged in The Compulsory Provisions of Engineering Construction Standards.
