The Acute Toxicity Test of Nitrites in Table Ducks

樱桃谷肉鸭 48只 ,随机分为 8组 ,每组 6只。每组依次按 1kg体重给予亚硝酸钠 (NaNO2 ) 117.2 0 ,140 .6 6 ,16 8.79,2 0 2 .5 5 ,2 43.0 5 ,2 91.6 7,35 0和 42 0mg ,采用强饲法经口给药。结果显示 :按 1kg体重给予亚硝酸钠剂量超过2 0 2 .5 5mg组的肉鸭 ,10 0 %死亡 ;中毒肉鸭明显的表现出呼吸障碍和高铁血红蛋白血症。测得半数致死量 (LD50 )为15 9.0 1mg/ (kg体重 ) ,其 95 %可信限为 12 7.6 1～ 198.12mg/ (kg体重 )。

Forty-eight Cherry Valley(C.V.) table ducks were randomly divided into eight groups, each 6 ducks. Sodium nitrite was orally administered to these groups for 117.20, 140.66, 168.79, 202.55, 243.05, 291.67, 350 and 420 mg/kg body weight respectively. When the dose went over 202.55 mg/kg, that group appeared 100% dead. The poisoned animal obviously showed hypoxia or anoxia and metheglobinemia, slight local irritation of gastrointestinal tract. Estimated by Krber's way, the LD 50 was 159.01 mg/kg body weight, which 95% confidence interval was 127.61～198.12 mg/kg body weight.
