The paper suggests the following aspects to foster the students' creative thinking ability in colleges and universities:change the teaching concept,carry out the teaching method reform,accelerate the reform of managerial systems in colleges and universities,actively guide the activeties organized by student union and associations and exploit deeply the functions of the library.
